So apparently the “Shoes on at home or Shoes off at home” debate is raging again. Just have a read of the Guardian’s “Lifestyle” Op piece of what’s happening in the UK – see link here: Shoes on at home or shoes off? If you care about your health, it’s a no-brainer | Homes | The Guardian
The key ‘factual’ take outs are:
- “scientific evidence it could have serious health consequence and even, …..be life-threatening.”
- “Until now this has been an uncomplicatedly divisive subject: you were either a Shoes Off household, or you weren’t”!!
- “96% of shoes tested positive for coliform bacteria, which is commonly found in faecal matter” Quote unquote a University of Arizona study.
- Somehow “Olivia Colman” makes a mention about having “our lives… in your hands”. Go figure
On point two above, it makes it sounds as divisive as the current Australian Federal election of “Labor” “Coalition” or non-major party. But perhaps it should be the topic of intense raging and talking point in families. We do of course spend the better part of our times at ‘home’ negotiating preferences, hygiene, and relationships in an enclosed environment for the better part of our evenings, nights and early mornings and perhaps most of the weekends.
Where does this segue way into the topic of Dogs… and more precisely Dogs poop, pee, vomit or diarrhoea? you ask in that Aussie twang.
Well, it’s perhaps not surprising that we Australians mostly don’t appear to worry much about taking shoes off indoors, even though its highly likely that those shoes of yours have entered a toilet (most likely a public one) which will leave to your imagination the state of these; lush rolling greenery in the form of poop of all matter (dog, bird, pigeon?) that get onto the bottoms of your casual sneakers that never get washed.
It would follow that having your cuddly small or big pooch indoors is a natural extension of having your shoes make its way through the hallowed corridors of your home sanctuary. The idea that your pooch will take a leak, or poop when it needs to and we haven’t yet invented toilet paper for dogs… and that bottom from which that poop came out of has not been washed or wiped (yet!) and we are quite happy for that same bottom to sit on your sofa, carpet, kitchen floor, bed?
Luckily for more cleanly conscious dog owners, ECOPAWZ CLEANUP goes a long way to making clean up easier, convenient both indoors and outdoors! Any slushy or liquid excreted by your darling pooch can be quickly covered and contained by our specialty blend of 100% natural diatomaceous earth and attapulgite clay sourced from heartland of Western Australia. Simply sprinkle ECOPAWZ CLEANUP onto the offending poop, pee, vomit, diarrhoea, which will harden and thoroughly absorb the offending material and more importantly removes the odour effectively, locking and dehydrating any parasites or nasties that attracts flies, maggots and yucky insects.
Sprinkle ECO PAWZ CLEANUP powder onto the affected area to stop the smells; stop the flies and nasties.
